If Clarence lived by one guiding principle, it would be to treat others like you want to be treated. This includes giving hugs to everyone he meets and clinging to his carers in the hopes that they won’t leave him, according to the cute 4-year-old rescue dog.
Clarence had no experience with being at home. He spent his entire life outside in his family’s yard before they left him in a Walmart parking lot. The golden retriever-mix encountered two other abandoned dogs, a German shepherd and a Chihuahua-mix, and began following them around.
Animal Control eventually caught Clarence and his German shepherd friend. Clarence’s owner was informed, but he refused to come get Clarence, therefore Clarence was put on the list for euthanasia. Thankfully, Hounds In Pounds intervened just in time to save Clarence and the German shepherd and place them in loving homes.
Despite his tough beginnings in life, Clarence shows no animosity toward anyone and is so full of love. In the year 2022, resolve to make the world a better place for pets. The enormous, fluffy dog gets along with everyone he meets, including cats, other dogs, and kids. Cat Suzuki, the creator of Hounds In Pounds said, “He is an angel – literally.” “All he wants to do is be by your side.” “This dog is a mush,” says the owner.
In the upcoming days, Clarence will fly from Georgia to New Jersey to start looking for a permanent residence. And his rescuers are sure that any family who is fortunate enough to adopt him will find delight in him.
