A Wirral nursing home resident has celebrated her 103rd with friends and family at a special party.
Phyllis Johnson was born on August 28, 1920, and lived at Charlotte House nursing home in Bebington since 2015.
The home invited family and friends to join them for an afternoon of special celebrations.
When asked how she would like to celebrate the day Phyllis said she wanted a DJ with music, a magician and buffet.
Phyllis worked for the Ministry of Defence during the war in London before training as a teacher but decided it wasn’t for her. She went on to work for the local authority in the planning office.
She was married for 50 years to her late husband and they lived together in Mill Road, Bebington for 60 years.

Phyliss was delighted to receive a card from the Queen when she turned 100 and said she is looking forward to receiving a card from the King when she reaches 105.
Residents and team members spent time making 103 cards for Phyllis to mark this iconic day!
Phil Evans, general manager of Charlotte House which is part of Lovett Care, said: “Every birthday is a special celebration in our home however what an achievement reaching 103!
“It’s an absolute privilege to be able to celebrate with Phyllis and create such a wonderful momentous afternoon for her”.
